ABOUT STUDIO STAR
We started our recording studio over a decade ago. Far away from its creation was a desire to host karaoke. We got into the Karaoke business by accident. It all started when one of the company’s founders hosted a birthday party for a family member. Somehow Karaoke showed up as one of the evening’s activities.
What resulted was an evening of EPIC portions of FUN!
We witnessed family and friends whom we knew to usually be shy, more than willing to try their favorite song.
“It’s the booth” one family member exclaimed. “ I feel way better with singing without being able to easily see or hear you guys laughing and talking about me!” The truth is, the recording booth is just the perfect ice breaker for all performers.
That evening gave birth to Studio Star Karaoke. We are a brand new company with a brand new approach to Karaoke. We have taken our 10 years in the studio business, and merged it with weekend fun. The result is STUDIO Karaoke.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Booking Information
- We accept online reservations only. To reserve online, you will be required to enter your card information to guarantee your booking.
- Bookings will be held for 15 minutes from your reservation time. In the case of late arrivals, please give us a call to let us know and we can attempt to accommodate you and keep your time slot.
- If you would like to decorate with balloons and all that jazz- please reserve an additional hour to your booking time slot
- There’s a required deposit of 30% which is non-refundable but transferable to another date within 1 month of your booking. *For bookings of more than 10 people, please contact us directly prior to booking your reservation via phone or the “CONTACT US” form.
- Your reservation will be cancelled if there’s a No Call No Show within a 30 min window from the start time of your time slot. You will forfeit your deposit that was made at the time of booking.
- Our boutique sized studio has a limited space- therefore any changes to your booking must be made at least 24 hours prior to your booking. We reserve the right to charge for cancellations within the group without prior notice which is non-refundable.
- During busy periods, any late arrivals will not be given extra time, therefore, please ensure you leave sufficient time to check in.
- If available- you may extend your time slot. You will be charged the hourly rate.
Venue Information
- Studio Star Karaoke at MixMajor is under 24-hour CCTV operation.
- Studio Star Karaoke at MixMajor does not tolerate aggressive or violent behavior towards our staff or any member of the public within our premises under any circumstances. Any person in violation may be removed from the premises at the discretion of Studio Star Karaoke at MixMajor team.
- Studio Star Karaoke will provide a licensed Service Bartender/ Host for your event for $10 per person/ per hour if you decide to bring your own adult beverages. All guests in the party must be 21 and over and present a valid form of photo I.D.
- UNDER 18 Children Parties: All guests must leave before 8pm and no alcohol may be consumed in the same room as underage parties. Children must be accompanied by persons over the age of 18.
- Studio Star Karaoke at Mix Major operates a strict entry policy to ensure that all guests are in a safe and secure environment.
- If you’ve decorated in the space, please allocate enough time within your time slot to remove all items from the space. If items are not removed within 15 minutes of your time slot end time, it will result in an automatic $50 cleaning fee. (*If you prefer Studio Star Karaoke team members to clean the area of decor, please let us know on arrival)
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to the venue at any time at the discretion of Studio Star Karaoke at MixMajor.
- We reserve the right to charge for damages caused intentionally or negligently, lost or stolen equipment and for smoking inside the building. Any person in violation may be removed from the premises at the discretion of Studio Star Karaoke at MixMajor team member(s) and the proper county authorities.
